Ares wears an all-black chest plate and black pteruges (skirts worn by Greek/Roman soldiers). He is shown to be having spiked shoulder pads that hold his cape in place and forearm cuffs that have spikes. He has a faded buzzcut and has a clean beard. He is the tallest and most muscular of Zeus' sons possibly due to the fact he is Zeus and Hera's son. When in battle, he wears his war helmet that appears all-black like the rest of his outfit and has a protruding arch. he is seen as calm and stern.
