He is a black bull-like monster resembling the Minotaur of Greek myth. His charcoal-black skin and pale gray chest plate look like natural armor. Two large curved white horns rise from his head, and sharp triangular teeth fill his mouth, with tusks jutting from the lower jaw. Colorblind and photosensitive, Black is cruel, cold, and grumpy. Scarred by abuse from his mother, he repeats that cruelty with his son, Red—who eventually transforms him into the monstrous Minotaur in the Rainbow Friends.
