While being incredibly unstable and violent Paul isn't just going after mindless bloodshed, he's calculated and an excellent assassin because of it. He's distrustful of other people and rather secretive, not giving any clarification for any of his actions; Paul also struggles with the fact he is not human. Despite all of this at heart he's empathetic to a fault, wanting to help raise other artificial beings without knowledge that they're artificial.
