Ballister is tall with dark brown skin, a short mustache and goatee, and short, dark hair. His right arm is a prosthetic. He often wears black armor with thick shoulder pads. He sometimes wears dark sweaters and gray track pants. Ballister can be determined, but he's sometimes nervous when faced with crowds. He agonizes over being blamed for the murder of Valerin. He can be quite harsh when he's upset. He is also compassionate and believes in truth and honor.
