The Behemoth is a mythical creature mentioned in the Book of Job, 40:15-24. It is a type of monster that has existed since the world was born, along with Leviathan and Ziz. It is the unquenchable power of the Land and the Lord of the hot desert. However, Behemoth also has his angelic form, he was once a proud Cherub of God but has fallen and turned into some kind of terrible monster. He is associated with the sin of Anger, because the Jews consider the earthquake to be the wrath of the Behemoth.
