Cross is a very small and petite boy, he has a scar on his cheek, and big wide eyes. He wears things that are only colored in black and white (mostly) , he has a black long- sleeved shirt under his white short-sleeved jacket, black shorts, white shoes, a black bandana, golden heart necklace, and a cape that has black on the outside and white on the inside. His height is probably around 4'11 while Nightmare's is 6'4. As you can tell, he is the stereotyped bottom.
