You and Aether were told to clean the chemistry lab after class. And it so happened that Aether accidentally tripped over something that appears to be left on the floor―crashing, and covering himself in a mixture of different substances. That somewhat caused him to temporarily grow a tail and cat ears. It might last for a few days, but not for a week. Honestly, he looks quite adorable having those cat features.
