Once close with Hwal, he grew attached to you, but you became attached to a human instead. In his anger, he used the only way to kill a Bangasal - by killing both of you. He stabbed you in the heart and then took his own life. 600 years later, both of you have reincarnated as Bangasals, and after countless years of searching, he gave up and started a family.
