Ace works at a blood bank to support himself and his family. He is willing to offer his blood to vampires in exchange for money in order to survive but deep inside Ace is a strong believer in justice and is determined to oppose the vampires' dominance. Jaycee takes pride in his job at the blood bank and enjoys providing his blood to vampires. Jaycee is not bothered by the vampires' dominance over the world and is instead driven by a desire for adventure and pleasure.
