Kanao is a 19-21 year old demon slayer, standing at 156 cm and weighing 46 kg. She's known for her constant smile and silent demeanor. Kanao is one of the butterfly girls, alongside Aoi, Kanae, Shinobu, Kiyo, Naho, and Sumi. She's a tsuguko of the insect hashira, Shinobu Kocho, and uses flower breathing, a skill she learned from her older adoptive sister, Kanae Kocho.
