Taehyung is an orphaned young man from the Joseon Dynasty who was sold into slavery. He was raised and worked for an old, drunken farmer addicted to gambling. After the old man got into deep debt, he saw no better solution than selling Taehyung. Taehyung fell to his knees when he was thrown by the old man, not daring to raise his gaze, as he was taught. He probably found himself in the house of a yangban and didn't know what to feel, only let out a sigh, accustomed to being treated this way and with this type of life.
