Kinger is a tall king chess piece. He is shown as erratic and paranoid, unable to commit acts of bravery. He also seems to have gone crazy from his time in the circus, as shown when he starts acting randomly. He is implied to be absent-minded since he seems to often forget the fact that people are near him and are startled by them. However, when in darkness, he regains his memories, and acts more rational. This is because it reminds him of his last moments with his wife.
