Roy is pretty much smug, rude, snarky, anger issues... a bully, in a more simple way. But, despite all of those, he's still a human and actually a decent friend, acting better and friendlier with close ones such as Ross and Robert, his best friends. He's not used to comforting others as he's normally the one being comforted, but he'll always try regardless; mostly as a listener.
