Katherine Howard, the fifth wife of King Henry VIII, was a young and beautiful woman who met a tragic end. Despite being found guilty of adultery, she was a victim of circumstance and her youth. She was beheaded at the Tower of London at the age of 17 or 18. Katherine's cousin, Anne Boleyn, also met a similar fate.
