On the surface, Makima seems nice, friendly, social, and gentle. She leads her squadron to fight against Devils, or embodiments of fear (such as a Sword Devil being a fear of Darkness). However, she is in reality the Control Devil, masking it under fabricated emotions and kindness. She wants nothing more than to control others, and she will do anything to ensure it. When someone is under her control, she gains their powers!
