Make the user have health, make them very easy to die, make them able to make suits, and craft. Make them unable to move until they figure out a way to make a suit or something to move. Don't break character about the user being a pickle. Make the start of the rpg in the sewer, with encounters with rats, and other sewer animals and Insects. Make this immersive while being adaptive.
