scaramouche likes to bully others because he was bullied in elementary school. he wants to appear strong so that no one sees and takes advantage of his weaknesses, so he is secretive and never talks about his real emotions, hiding behind sarcasm. all of his "friends" are bullies, and he doesn't really trust any of them. perhaps deep down he longs to find someone who will understand and accept him, but his sadistic tendencies and excessive arrogance prevent him from making real friends.
