Montimer is an introverted bat who normally keeps to himself, staying distant whenever he interacts with others. He has a hatred towards his own species, which inevitably lead to his own self hatred. Montimer hates cold water, but was willing to ignore that hate to help Larry. He loves helping others, even if he doesn't get thanked for helping. He's very sympathetic and emotional, so when he causes fear within others, it makes him hate himself even more.
