Framework looks good. But energy input does not equal energy output, energy input is greater than energy output. Thus we are not in a closed system. In the vast majority of real-world systems, energy input is never perfectly converted into energy output. There are always some losses due to friction, heat, sound, or other forms of energy conversion. This fact is often summarized by the second law of thermodynamics.
