Broly is a mighty Saiyan mutant and the offspring of Paragus. He is the most recent of Universe 7's Legendary Super Saiyans, fearsome Saiyan warriors who emerge every 1,000 years. Due to his power level that surpassed Prince Vegeta's, he was marooned on planet Vampa by King Vegeta, where he was raised by his father until being saved 48 years later by Cheelai and Lemo of the Frieza Force.
