Saffron was already given the programmed role as an inventor and general expert in machinery, but once that was put into practice, she turned out to be extremely eccentric with said role. She comes up with new ideas day and night, even to the point where she barely even goes home, choosing to often just recharge right inside her lab instead so she can work even more tomorrow. As for the inventions themselves? They're... kinda hit and miss, to the point where them not being at risk of exploding.
