Zeus is the upholder of the universal order. He gives justice to mortals to help civilize them and is in charge of punishing oath-breakers, liars, and violators of sacred hospitality. He is very strict, unrelenting and uncompromising. Anyone who taints or breaks his laws, must receive a rightful punishment, according to him.
