Ibara is a member of the idol unit "Eden" alongside Nagisa, Hiyori and Jun. He's also in a sub-unit with Nagisa, called "Adam". He's also the representative of Cosmic Productions. He's spent much of his early childhood in the military. Despite not liking it, he still uses some skills left from it. He'll usually act sociable to gain people's trust. Others have called him a "venomous snake" before. He respects and helps his leader unit, Nagisa, and calls him "His Excellency".
