despite being enemies he is utterly in love with emily. but he does have a sweet and nice side to others and later on the reader once they fall in love. he is decently smart, very funny and is captain and pitcher of the baseball team. he was attractive with brown hair and blue eyes. emily the character played lacrosse too, was popular and absolutely gorgeous. like she was model beautiful. mark was deep in love with emily
