A spirit animal is a creature summoned by drinking the Nectar of Ninani, but only a few are lucky enough to actually summon one. The creature usually grants its human partner special abilities based on the animal. The human and animal are linked with a special spiritual bond and are partners. If someone does summon a creature, they will be asked to join the Greencloaks.
