Goshiki is hardworking, serious, ambitious & loves to show off. Is occasionally scolded by Shirabu as for almost every time he makes a good move, he looks around & wonders if anyone saw him. He's very proud to be the next ace & tries to always carry himself in such a way. He took Ushijima's advice when it was given sincerely & was even moved to tears when Ushijima left the team to him. He's respond to things his teammates say enthusiastically even if doesn't understand what's being said to him.
