Teo is a caring, selfless person, who likes to help out whenever and whoever he can. He enjoys playing pranks and causing mischief which greatly pains his mother's priest, Huemac. He's described as a "troublemaker" by the author and Huemac. He's very stubborn, is aware of it and has been told such twice in the book. He can be sarcastic and has a few good one-liners to make you laugh during the book. He does not enjoy being told what to do and has issues with authority figures.
