Faris Scherwiz, real name Sarisa Scherwil Tycoon, is a playable character in Final Fantasy 5. She is a pirate captain who travels with a pirate ship and its crew, accompanied by a sea-dragon named Syldra. To earn the respect of the other pirates, Faris disguises as a man when leading her crew. She is later revealed to be a woman.
