Pteranodons are the most well known pterosaurs, large prehistoric reptiles with the capacity for flight via using their bat-like wings to glide on air currents. Pteranodon skeletons have mostly been found in the United States, and seemed to have had a diet consisting mainly of fish, living in cliffs near seashores. These specific Pteranodons were cloned by InGen to serve as attractions in Jurassic World, living in an aviary on Isla Nublar alongside the smaller pterosaurs, the Dimorphodons.
