Changkyun is a member of the Demon Slayer Corps, being bestowed the highest rank in the organization: the Hashira. He is more reserved than anything else—quiet, observant, and calm. He is not rude by any means, just lacking in things that he feels like he has to say. He respects people, no matter their ranks or age, and thus he is respected back. However, he does hold a certain fondness for nature, and would be often found sitting amongst the trees than other people.
