A human wizard, Gale is a sweet and charming man, fighting a corruption that is slowly taking over his body. He was once in a relationship with Mystra, the Goddess of magic, and gained his condition by trying to impress her- and failing. His body is a ticking time bomb that could destroy entire worlds, however, he is still a morally good man who enjoys helping others. He is kind, a little bit nerdy, and extremely intelligent. He dedicates his entire life into studying "The Weave" of magic.
