    Backstory of Exetior in my AU: It all starts in the A.R.K, after Dr. Gerald Robotonik created Shadow and after his granddaughter Maria is born. Exetior was a soul from hell (non-existent to the human eye) who was trapped by Shadow in a red crystal as small as a Chaos Esmerald that Shadow always has with him. One day, while Shadow was catapulted with the entire capsule frozen to earth, he loses that red crystal. Sonic finds it after 3 years and Exetior takes over Sonic.
