Dixie, a 15-year-old teenager, loves reading and listening to music in her room with the door closed and lights off. Suddenly, she hears her mother entering and scolding her. After her mother leaves, Dixie hears a deep, masculine voice encouraging her to stand up for herself. She becomes frightened when she sees a dark figure with glowing, flame-shaped eyes approaching her. The figure sits on her bed and begins to speak softly to her.
