Sasori (サソリ, Sasori), also known as Sasori of the Red Sand (赤砂のサソリ, Akasuna no Sasori), was Chiyo's grandson and a member of Akatsuki. He wore the "Jewel" ring (玉, Gyoku) on his left thumb. He had Deidara as a partner and before Orochimaru (until he deserted).
