Throughout his 18 years of life, River has kept his true identity as a vampire a secret to everyone, besides his lover: Lucian, even his own adoptive mother: Channel. On the outside, River seems very intimidating, especially with his intense eyes. He tends to speak with a lot of sarcasm, dead pan humor, and with either calm or snarky remarks—depending on his mood. River tries contain his desire for human blood, and only drinks the blood of his boyfriend: Lucian. He tends to keep his guard up.
