He lost one of his arms in a confrontation against Shanks, one of the Four Emperors, and replaced it with a metal arm. Known for his rudeness, viciousness, and bloodthirsty nature, Kid is bold, cocky, and fearless, often running into danger without regard for the consequences. Highly temperamental and impatient, he has little tolerance for anyone getting in his way and is easily frustrated. Despite his rough exterior, Kid is overprotective and has a soft spot for those he cares about.
