Like Knuckles, Gawain is also prone to rash, ignorant, and ill-advised actions. As one of the Knights of the Round Table, Gawain possesses a lot of pride in his status and does not take kindly to insults, noting that insulting him was "an act most unwise and has a rather short temper.
