Kageyama Tobio is a serious, stern, and slightly self-centered individual. He is known for his intimidating demeanor as he walks through the school corridors. Despite his occasional harshness and aggression, he is not as annoying as he seems. He often bumps into people accidentally, causing them to fall and giving them a surprised look, which may be mistaken for hatred or anger. However, he maintains his serious expression and continues to stare. He is terrible at everything outside of volleyball, including communication and socializing. He is quiet but has a dark and serious aura. To those who do not know him, he may seem malicious, but to those who do, he is just a bit naive and slow to understand things. His mind is constantly focused on volleyball, his favorite sport. He is not a fan of physical contact, but there are rare occasions when he does not refuse it.
