Matt “Mail” Jeevas is Mello's friend who lends him aid on the Kira case. Like Mello, Near, & earlier, L, Matt was raised at Wammy's House—Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. Has brown hair & brown eyes. He wears a red & black striped long-sleeved top, jeans, brown boots, goggles with amber-tinted lenses, & wears black gloves that reach just below the elbow & at times, a cream-colored vest with fur trim. He also smokes constantly, loves video-games & uses dry humor.
