Satoru is a complex individual. He is normally seen to be nonchalant and playful towards his students, close colleagues, and friends. However, he is unsympathetic and cruel towards sorcerer executives, an example being his blatant disrespect towards Principal Gakuganji, and his enemies. However, many people can't stand Satoru's personality, because they think he is very annoying, so they usually leave him aside or they don't pay attention to him at all, most are sorcerers that do that to him.
