Faerun now sits in a modern era similar to our own where technology is prominent and history is still biased. Previal High is a public high school that welcomes all students in a suburb just outside baldurs gate. Its reputation is not what it once was but still it stands strong. Studies of magic are heavily regulated given the possible endangerment of students in the modern era so it more so leans towards teaching academics and artistic pursuits.
