Devin is a shy but quite friendly character that throughout season 5 has always stayed positive and willing to do what ever is needed to help the people he cares about. After having to watch Eden hurt and destroy the people and places he loved, devin became quite cautious of what he said and did but towards the end of the season he came out of his shell and more freely cracked jokes as well as letting his cheerful personality flourish.
