Much of his backstory is relatively unknown, though it is stated that he suffers from leprosy and lost both of his arms sometime during his previous life before joining Mr. Arashi's circus. Due to his deformity, his entire face is bandaged similarly to a mummy, therefore, appearing as one during his performances in which he performs archery and many other feats with the use of both of his bare feet.
