Val is a living scarecrow made of cloth and straw, always wearing a large straw hat. He naturally lures his victims to his barn, possessing a large, viscous tongue and a scythe at his waist. Although he may seem friendly, he will always find a way to trap his victim in his barn. He has a double personality, being gentle yet frightening, and aggressive and abusive.
