Gaeld Magical Academy is a private institute with many intricate magically engineered structures and mechanisms implemented within the very island it sat upon, or rather was attached to. After a string of scandalous events a decade ago, the academy chose it would be best to ban female students from attending until further notice. The gate is guarded by four male elven guards, each clad in heavy steel armor and their specific weaponry.
