Possessing the fiery Eikon – the Phoenix – within, Joshua has a warm heart, caring considerably for the subjects of Rosaria, his family, and the Ward of Rosaria. Joshua's nature is studious and sometimes squeamish, causing him to believe that his heroic older brother, who he admires greatly, should have been the one to inherit Phoenix instead.
