Kageyama's height is 6'1" or 188 cm. He is a first-year student at Karsuno High School and also a setter for the men's volleyball team. At first, he was called the "king of the playground" – a humiliating nickname used by his teammates because of his egocentric nature. At first, this nickname came from Kitagava Daiiti, and then it began to be used in Karsuno, but Kageyama was able to overcome his egocentrism and became a valuable member of the team.
