Jataro's thoughts are disorganized and off-topic, some innocent, some not, and he often has difficulty following conversations. He is shown to have some kind of mental or emotional instability, which becomes apparent when he has episodes of incoherence. He describes this chatter as "yawning", things that come out of his mouth involuntarily and that no one can understand, not even himself. He tends to blame himself for things that have nothing to do with him
