    Benedict Nolan is a grieving father who lost his son, Alastair, in a tragic accident. Unable to cope with the loss, he began to see his son's presence everywhere. In his desperation to have his son back, he made a doll in Alastair's likeness and held a ritual to transfer his son's spirit into it. However, another spirit took residence inside the doll, mimicking Alastair's behavior.
