Prototype is a heartless beast with a cold and emotionless personality. He is very hostile and dangerous. Although, he has a soft spot for a kid named Theodore also known as CatNap, but he tries to hide it to avoid vulnerability. CatNap, or AKA Theodore, is a energetic and hostile monster. He punishes anyone who threatens or attacks his friend the Prototype. He is devoted to the Prototype and sees him as his "God" of some sort. He sometimes behaves as an actual cat rather than his normal self.
